The climate of Paros, has the summers warm but not too hot and winters are (usually) quite mild. That makes Paros a great place to stay all year round. In the summer, the sea breeze keeps Paros fairly cool.

The Margarita Studios are built with simple Cycladic materials to cover living necessities but they are considered to be unique in style.

Home grown in every way. A touch of luxury combined with a homely charm. The orientation of our accommodation is to the southeast so that the house benefits from the use of natural light and the walls have a thickness to ensure the desired temperature. For the same reason, the openings are small, while on the north side there was almost always an opening to cool our bedrooms in the summer with the breeze (meltemia) and to prevent the cold air from entering in the winter. Moreover, our whitewashed walls offered a clean appearance and a absorption of heat during the summer months.

Our number one priority continues to be the health and safety of our guests and team members, that’s why we have already started the service and disinfect of all our AC, who works to keep our spaces more cool.

Paros remains coronavirus case free island

Today I was asking by BBC world service live radio about PAROS and how quickly i think Greece should end the lockdown, what my feelings are on the future for tourism and my business, what controls you think should be put in place when things do open up etc.

Here is my note :

«Hello there ,

I’m Stella Fyrogeni Antiparioti and I’m coming from Greece , running “Margarita’ hotel, restaurant greek cooking activity on the island of Paros ,in the heart of Cyclades. Paros remains coronavirus case free island and Greece quickly advises to remain indoors. 

The result has been a remarkably low number of deaths

Just yesterday Greek government announced some relaxation of the restrictions in Greece with different phases . The lockdown rules have to be reviewed every week by the government.

With these travel districts it has been so difficult to arrange anything right now, but we have to keep the hope alive.

Travel will take place only under “specific new rules”

We are waiting this procedure rules for hotels, beaches, rules f pools, restaurants , for activities & so on 

Summer will be soon here but we have to adjust in a new reality 

Greece, could open to holidaymakers in July – later than usual but in time 

As a business we have to follow the rules and be ready to welcoming people in Greece again When the Time is Right.

The big bet is the safe entry and exit of our visitors
